#MarchofRobots
Final robot pic before tomorrow's "Yay another month long challenge down completion pic". I can't in good conscience do a month of robots without visiting my oldest and probably most dear introduction to the scifi mecha genre. Armored Core 3 was the first game I truly understood how to play, and had great enjoyment of, prominently featuring giant mercenary humanoid mechs fighting all manner of military equipment.
The shot depicted here is from the intro cinematic to 'Armored Core: 3', and is the climax of the engagement between one Crest light skirmisher AC (Armored Core), and one Mirage heavy weight brawler AC. Missing its left arm and now completely blind after receiving a fatal blow to its head, the Crest AC sets up to finish off the seemingly disabled foe. Only to have the scrappy Crest AC throw up one last final ditch attempt, a surprise hail of missiles from hidden compartments in its arm units.
Say nothing of the fact those arm pods never actually existed in the game. It was still one of my favorite moments from any game trailer, Software did, and still does an amazing job bringing us tension filled and epic giant robot combat.

Thanks ^^
I have fond memories of AC2:AA as well, I just didn't fully understand what was even happening with most of the stats at the time. I would shoot at things, stuff would explode and for some reason I couldn't boost much. AC:3 were I started to get better at the games.
