I've been trying to flesh out my new rabbit oc [around 12-13 years old here] and a bit of his background. So far, I've made him a brownish/grey color. His mom is white with pink features.

To start, he and his mom are very close, like friends who understand each other best. As far back as he can remember, she has always been there for him unconditionally as his sole comfort, playmate, teacher/advisor, and provider. For him there was no worse feeling than having disappointed his mom. He always wants to return everything she has done for him by, for example, being the best that he can in school, being trouble free [as far as a kid can be anyways xP], helpful and basically a best friend.

As for the coloring, lately I have gotten inspired by various artists who use the natural light from different times of day rather than the typical noon, bright sunlight scheme. Different hours of the day create their own unique moods, though I think my first sunset effect turned out a bit weak by the overuse of yellow.
