This is an amazing piece of work.
For a start, I love the composition. You have the central figure off-centre, which adds drama. Plus the contrasting light/dark backgrounds. Shiron's wings and the window also form a huge circle shape, which is cool.
You also use light and shade brilliantly to give depth and solidity to the various forms.
There is plenty of detail, but the linework is very expressive.
Lastly I love the look on Shiron's face - I guess something/someone's really pissed him off ;)
All in all, superb. Keep up the good work.

Ranshiin was always the one that mostly gets pissed off anyway :).
Its amazing how a normal writing pen can do such great detail in a sketch. This picture is starting to attract more interest into my work not just on FA or DA but on Conceptart.org.
Conceptart.org is a brilliant place, if you go to the forums with millions of users registered they give people fantastic tutorials in anatomy and the way pictures should be done (depending on your taste really) also out of all the forums I've seen they have tons of active members everyday so it doesn't get to dull like most forums.
