"Hello!! Please take the time to read over the info before commenting or commissioning any work done on this base!
I know it looks like a lot, but please take the time and read through the required sections to ensure you understand
the rules, your rights, proper use of your image, and prices of each different commission option."
"Important sections will be marked with this: [✔ IMPORTANT! ✔] and appear in bright white or black text.
PLEASE make sure you go over those sections at least! I can't be held responsible if you don't and make a mistake."
"Nyck says Thank you SO much!"
★ What is This? ★
✦
This is a large, accumulative project that I'm working on! The reason I'm doing this
in the exact way that I'm doing it is for a reason: I want to collect and build up
many different and especially the most common traits to save in the PSD file for
this base so that I can possibly offer more custom commissions similar to this for
a lower price. I may even publicly release the pack for you all to use later on when
it's completely finished! I'm not planning or preparing for that release yet, however.

This base can be used for many different things. It can be used to design outfits
for existing characters, it can be used a visual reference for artists to use when
they draw your character, it can be used to create adoptables, it can be used to
create custom designs or designing new characters for yourself or your friends.
This base can also be used for whatever else you can imagine. Just like the pose?
This can be your character. Want to practice shading? Sure. Need to practice drawing
various body types? Perfect! This base provides a starting point to customize your
character(s) to be exactly what you want them to be, because we all know that's
not always the easiest thing! This base is endlessly customize-able.
★ How Do I Use The Base? ★
[✔ IMPORTANT! ✔]
✦
For right now, the only way to use this base is to commission the artist so they can
edit it for you. Possibly in the future a PSD file will be available for use by the public
or paying patrons, but for now there is not and are no plans for such. However, you
may commission the artist to edit only the line-art for you if you wish to color it yourself.
★ Are There any RULES? ★
[✔ IMPORTANT! ✔]
✦
Not many, but there are. Here's a list of what DOs and DON'Ts...
①Do NOT edit your commission without written consent from nycket!
(outside of coloring commissioned blank lineart)
Even if something small is slightly off, it is preferred that you ask the artist to make these changes for
you. However, you are allowed to color empty lines that you purchase; PLEASE don't make edits to those
lines, yourself, without asking nycket! If you have experience using PSD/SAI then you may be allowed.
Most of the time these tweaks and edits will come at no cost to you, though! Even on fully colored and
shaded pieces, so why not have it professionally done? There's nothing to lose and everything to gain!
②Do NOT share blank & watermark-less lineart with others!
This shows respect for the artist and the work they've put into this. You will receive a watermarked and
non-watermarked version if you do commission the artist for blank lineart. Please refrain from sharing the
non-watermarked version with friends, even if you don't believe they would do anything with it. There's no
reason they need the watermarked version if they are truly honest. The artist tries very hard to make their
watermarks as inconspicuous as possible to avoid disrupting the value of the image as a whole.
③Do NOT use commissioned lineart for commercial purposes!
This is a tricky one and it all has to do with the give and take of the community. Basically, if you
pay me to draw a lineart for you and you turn around and sell that lineart as a YCH, how does that factor
out fairly for all parties involved? That person that paid you to color the lineart could have come to the
original artist and got their image finished in a consistent style that even more accurately fits their character
for roughly the same price. If you take that away, not only is your customer getting scammed, the original
artist is losing out on profits, credit, views or watchers, and even future business transactions with that
customer. There are many things that only the original artist can do and they've worked many years to
build their skills to do something like this.
The exception is that you MAY color in your commissioned lineart and sell adoptables as long as the price
of the design falls within $5 or less. YOU spent time and effort designing those characters and you deserve
a bit of money for your time. That's fair. You may also color in the lineart for your friends as gifts or requests.
Rule of thumb: Sell your effort. It takes time and thought to create an original design for an adoptable, but
it takes hardly any thought and effort to look at one picture of a character, and color my lineart exactly the same.
①DO make reasonably priced adoptables!
(Keep the cost at or below $5 USD / 500 DeviantART points)
When you purchase a blank and unique lineart from this base, you are allowed to make reasonably priced
adoptables to sell. Rule of thumb is: "Sell your effort". It takes time and thought to create unique designs
to sell as adoptables, and you deserve to make money from your hard workt! Adoptables MUST stay at or
below $5 USD or 500 DeviantART points in price. You may also exchange unique designs you've created for
other adoptables, create prizes/entries for raffles and contests, or whatever else you may want to do with
your creation! ALWAYS credit nycket for the lines and NEVER sell or give away the blank lines to others.
When creating adoptables, please use the watermarked version of the lines that the original artist provides
you at completion. This ensures that proper credit is always given and allows others to search for the
original artist to appreciate more of their work! If you want something changed on the lineart you may
contact nycket about making FREE edits to your commission or acquire permission to edit it, yourself.
②DO commission lines you can color for friends!
Coloring in lines to create gifts for your friends! It shows them that you care for them enough to put forth
time and effort into creating something special for them, especially if you're still learning how to draw! I
guarantee they'll appreciate the present and cherish it forever. The artist only asks that you leave their
signature or watermark on the lines that you color. They try very hard to make watermarks as inconspicuous
as possible so as not to disturb the main part of the image and retaining proper credit in an appealing way.
③DO use this base for personal purposes!
The possibilities are endless! As stated before, this base can be used for a number of different purposes.
Including: A pre-posed YCH, a miniature reference sheet, a base for displaying outfits, practice coloring
or shading, brainstorming ideas for a new character, or anything else you could imagine! The original
artist requests that you use the watermarked version if you are posting your commission publicly, and do
not share blank lines that have the potential to be misused by people who didn't pay for them.
★ I'm Ready to Buy! ★
✦
That's GREAT! I'm so thankful that you're interested in my work! By commissioning nycket (AKA me~)
you're providing a source of income that pays my family's rent, electricity & gas, internet, transportation, food,
formula, diapers, wipes, baby's clothing, toiletries, etc. so your support is incredibly important and crucial to us!
I'm assuming you already know what you're interested in getting, the question is: What's the cost? Take a look
at the following price list to estimate your total. The artist retains the right to adjust prices and add fees for
various things if they deem it necessary. USUALLY that's not an issue unless a character is excessively complex
and requires a substantial amount of extra time to complete. nycket will quote you your final price before
asking you to send payment. If you are dissatisfied with a price change you reserve every right to cancel your order.
