I thought this was just a cute idea. I was talking to my girlfriend about it and I came up with this 2-for. Why is it a 2-for? The obvious (for those who watch Flapjack) is that it's a play on words. The other (and you can't blame me for this one) is that it kinda plays on Sonic's "storybook series" of games (secret rings, black knight). I wouldn't be surprised if the next one in line would be about an adventure on the high seas.
