Alien Girl, whose formal name I have settled on Felixity Astra. She goes by Astra, her family name.

Basically her job is finding and exploring planets. She works for the Universe Commission, the main intergalactic rival to the Galactic Unification Federation. If the new planet doesn't have any sentient ruling species, the UC or GUF (whoever was there first to claim the planet) uses it for agriculture or whatever. If there is a sentient, non-advanced species, it will be used similarly, but with different attention to detail. And if the planet is inhabited by an advanced species, the exploration crew will attempt to ally with them.
