My gromphadorhina oblongata came today... aka GIANT Madagascan hissing cockroaches. This nymph had some interesting mutations; a "cleft pronotum" as I call it, and the lower segments are fused together. Still gets along just fine :>
I bought 12 of these (mostly adults), and wound up with 15 :D This is one of the nymphs. The adults of these guys are ENORMOUS. Easily 4". They have some mites, but not enough to be much of a worry. They climb and are very very active! Perfect little display roaches :D I bought them from http://www.theinvertshop.com . Barely over a year ago, these were $25 per pair, but now they sell for a much better price as they grow in popularity and availability.
Better pictures of the big guys soon!
