This was a merman from my dream the other night. A different take on the traditional mer-person. They would fight each other by tying a string to their hand and the hand of their opponent, and must battle until the other either cut the string or was killed. But they're usually pretty peaceful.

Holy cow, I feel really silly... I didn't realize until now that your message was a link. I've been sitting here trying to figure out what "Merman *cough cough cough* MERMAN" could possibly mean. Well, ok, it wasn't the ONLY thing I've been doing. I also ate a bagel.
