Adventurer’s Travels: Brothers of the Plains

Much to my surprise, as I left the still rabid cheering and screaming of the engaged crowd, my eyes fell to another Adventurer such as myself; dressed in the prizes of his hunts and the air of the wild, and in that moment realization donned. We had fought along one another long before in the lands beyond Mosi’s mighty walls. In the absence of law, of decency, and of moral, the call of wickedness will draw many men out into a sea from which they seldom return. We took time to speak as he enjoyed a tall flagon of ale and recall those days past as we had once repelled invaders that sought to wash across our lands like a plague.
