Car dealer?

Work for a Ford garage, thats the parts counter where i sell parts to customers and staff :P is a small lil counter but i keep it as tidy as i can :D

Reminds me of my parts counter... The busier it is in the store, the messier the counter gets. XD

heheh .. hit the nail on the head there :) it was very quiet this morning so i kinda did a huge clean up on the counter to eat up some time .. then i thought i should take some pics too :D .. normally i have a selection of parts awaiting collection by customers but .. the lack of parts should give the other hint hehe

Getting busier since its the summer? Or about the same?

mostly kit cars and race cars needing parts for the racing season, but its dropped off slightly from last year .. recession and whatnot .. most people are getting rid of their old cars under the new government scrappage scheme so theres actually fewer older Fords out there that need parts .. so i guess we're feeling the pinch from that slightly .. although we're busy in the phone office (we're the largest Ford dealership group in the southwest of the UK with at least 9 dealerships around the SW) so we have alot of trade with accident repair centres and other traders for parts, so we're doing good on the phone sales, just walk in customers are a lil fewer than usual, anyway .. need to sleep and such :) thanks for the message/chat is nice to meet someone out there who's in the same trade :D hope you like the rest of my pics in my gallery :p chat again sometime!

All makes sense, I only got into the business in October so all I've really noticed was the winter slow down and the spring pick back up again. I do know the store as a whole is down in sales slightly though. Who isn't though?

I believe theres actually something called "Car Heaven" here... XD Old cars still rock, but they have to pass emissions standards they weren't built for which isn't fun.

OKI dot matrix printer and HP mini tower

sharp eyes there Maug *hugs* .. i that temprimental little printer, the PC isn't too bad either .. kind of overpowered for the work it does as we're using a "Kalamazoo" system for the moment until we swap over to "Power" in July .. its not a bad set up i have out there, even though the printer likes to chew its paper feed now and then when i print an invoice for a customer .. hehe :P
