he only does it like.. once every few months i guess. I looked it up and a site said it was a mating thing. *shrugs*.
he is on my bookcase on the waaay top and there are things next to his cage so the cats cant get him. i still need to buy him a ball to run around.. he is getting fat.. XD

Haha. No, they don't thump just randomly for mating. they only thump if there's an in heat female in the cage. THAT sort of thumping is done during sex. But otherwise, the animal is just startled. xD
Mine all constantly run on their wheels, so they're quite healthy. c: they actually refuse to use a ball when I put them in one.

I think the "Problem" would be that the species is generic. I see that a lot of people kinda avoid those with 'generic' fursonas, such as a fox or a sparkledog. I do it myself at times (though only with red fox characters, generally), but I generally won't say anything.
I see alot avoid "normal" furs. like one breed, and all. Ive seen ALOT of weird furs in the fandom like hybrids, and ones that make no sense at all. *shrugs* but its their choice so you have to respect it.

<.< i agree... personally i dislike dragons.. all the ones i met are assholes and stuck up, as well as most wolves and foxes. i have NEVER met a mean cat, hamster, and a few others..
i will admit i hate most cats since they give the rest of us.. damn whores cats keep their legs closed... most of the cats i met are slutty and it pisses me off..
