August had to admit - she was extremely attractive. When she walked in, he could hardly believe that Courtney was the person he was going on the blind date with, she was so beautiful.
They agreed to meet at a bar he regularly went to, and his plan for the night was to eat and enjoy the live music, then surprise her later on with a song he'd perform for her - but he never got the chance. Courtney took him instead to a bookstore across the street to "get away from the noise", and he thought it would be rude to protest. But, admittedly, he was fuming. He hated reading and had no interest in it, while Courtney was excitedly picking up new books. Only half and hour into the date and he wished he could go home.
