This is an image I've had in my mind for years now, but not the sort of thing I could ever really do by hand given the colors involved. The inspiration for the imagery and emotion has been inspired by a number of different sources. Musically; "When I Still Needed You" by Afro Celt Sound System, "Firewater" by BT, "Maya" by Banco de Gaia, and "Far Above the Clouds" by Mike Oldfield. Some roleplaying stories with an old friend are largely to blame as well.
