I'm coming in way late to comment on this one, XD! Great design though! I've always had a thing for dragons in armor, and I like that you actually made it cover most of his body here. A lot of the "armored" dragon art I see just has one little piece of fancy metal covering one area. Do like, do like. ^^
I'm glad ya like! ^^ Yeah, it's fun stuff to try and design. There are some places like the wings that are always going to be pretty hard to protect, but I tried to figure a way in which most of the areas that would be exposed to danger in battle had some kind of protection. So in addition to just looking good, I wanted there to be at least -some- nod to practicality. ^^
