Purim(AKA The Girl) and Flammy the mana dragon from Secret of Mana(AKA Seiken Densetsu 2).

Just a quiet moment between journeying.
Randi and Popoie are away getting food for the campsite. Purim takes this moment to surreptitiously grab the 'Flammy Drum' from Randi's pack.
Purim uses the drum to summon the huge beast and greets him by embracing his massive head and running her hands across his mane.
Then, the girl and dragon settle down to snuggle.
Purim loves Dyluck, but somehow, the pure contentment she feels when sitting with Flammy is different from the anxiety she feels over Dyluck. She steals these moments when she can, and the purity of the great dragon's company is soothing and addictive.
