Another collaboration with the wonderful Peeeko because why not, plus she's got some amazing art that you guys should check out~

Actually this one is a special one? She drew this sketch while I was visiting her during the summer cause she is a butt and she got to first hand see me cry and break my feels. That said that took her sketch and did the lines/painting for this one. After literally three times of working on this and giving up because I was not happy with the results, I nailed it. Bonus points also for who can figure out where I pulled the title from, hint being its a lyric.

The image itself we got Hiddenite and Chrysotile who's got the most defeated look ever. What drew me to this sketch in particular was because it depicted what was ultimately Chryso's lowest point, she was being used only towards Hidden's own goals. She was so trapped into making her happy that she was blind to the fact she was very much being abused in the emotional and mental levels. So far so Chryso was pretty much separated from her other fellow gems and manipulated to the point she may have not gotten out of that state. It was because just that ounce of doubt and using her own ability revealed the dark truth.

As crushing as reality came to her, Chryso got out of that after she discovered she was being used and made her first steps towards finding herself despite that she's still struggles to grasp how a chunk of her life was just her being used. There is also the fear that she will eventually encounter Hiddenite again and have to confront her, to prove that she is stronger than what the gem takes her for.

It is to say that the sketch had a lot of thought but also symbolism to it, all great points that inspires me.
