I never seen a bagpipe dragon

To my knowledge, I am the only one in existence. It stems from my being a furry as well as a military bagpiper IRL.

I am just curious on how a bagpipe dragon came to be. ^^

Well I have had a life-long passion for dragons, and love them very much. I come from a family of Scottish and Irish bagpipers, the last one being my great grandfather, who was a war piper for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo during WWI. The bagpiping skill skipped a few generations and landed on me. One day, I up and decided that I wanted to learn how to play the bagpipes, I got a set shortly after and started playing with it [its really hard at first, but it does get easier, but you gotta be more stubborn than the bagpipe you're playing. XD], mm.. years later, after learning enough to be classified as a novice bagpiper, I thought about the possibility of creating a true form of myself, being that I have a deeply-rooted passion for the great highland bagpipes as the same for dragons.. I experimented around in my head for years with the ideas and concepts of such a creature, eventually I drew it out, and after some more experimentation and tweaks, that is how my bagpipe dragon came to be~

Though I was more on how this could PHYSICALLY be possible instead of the origin, but this is such a well thought out idea.

Mm, thats unknown, just as his origins, he just woke up one day in the middle of the forest, with no idea how he ended up there. He was originally a wind dragon, but something turned him into a bagpipe dragon, sorta like a secret mad scientist experiment. <X3 [thats the cover I have for the fact that I can't come up with a good-enough origin for something so very bizarre]

Unless you actually know how the bagpipes work, know them inside and out, and know how to play them, i'd say no since this is a closed and very personal species I have created. [and the fact that the actual instrument is incredibly complicated and it takes a RL bagpiper who is a furry to truely understand this species.. which is why i'm the only one, to my knowledge. X3]

But if you want to try out the idea of an inflating instrumorph, thats open to anyone, however it does take a lot of planning, thought, and creativity.. this form of me took me a few years to create before drawing it out. ^_^

Yes, i figured it was a very special and personal design, maybe it was intuition, maybe it was just a lucky guess, however i was talking about the "inflating instrumorph" (great techincal name); i'm glad to know the concept at least is open for me to experiment with.

Hehe yea, I consider it to my true from, and I really put my heart and soul into the design. Mmm, but yup, the "inflating instrumorph" concept is open to anyone, i'm not the first to work with living musical instruments~ [Thanks hehe, an olde friend coined that one]

I wonder, if someone plays him, does he inflate?

I actually inflate automatically as it helps me to retain my bodyshape and move around, however I can be played like a normal set of bagpipes. However, usually if someone plays me, I end up inflating them~

Now you make me wanna play you, just so I can be inflated.
