Psilocin is weird. While most molecules are orderly and nice and pay their taxes Psilocin doesn't. It's more abstract than that. It causes distortions in reality, most often turning straight bond lines and making them all wavy and loosey goosey. It can also create bursts of erratic colours, or make colours more vibrant or loud. It's a fungus and the normal conventions of reality do a sort of "nope" around it.
