Posted this many months ago when I was actually in Afghanistan.
Was walking to work when out of the corner of my eye, I saw this guy hopping to me at what HAD to be a steady six inches per second. He was covered in typical Afghan garb, and had an explosive belt made out of firecrackers.
After intense negotiations, I managed to talk him out of his crazy mission, at which point photographs were taken all around.
Side note: I spooked an Army sergeant with this guy.
