So whilst in Dubai (circa 2005ish), I went and put my impulsive spending to some good use. At the gold souk (one of them, anyway), I took and drew a small Dolphin in my own tribal style, and gave it to their crafters to see what they could do with it.

For the paltry sum of $250.00, they made this. A beautiful white and yellow gold pendant with a small diamond in the eye.

It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
