"Well, tiz only a short walk for us to reach our way home." Artison smiled as he climbed out. "How do you fair, Deimos?"
"I'm just concerned of being still a traitor to the Irkens." Deimos said "Aside from that I'm fine.
"I may be able to make something to fix that." Alexa appeared from her projector again, "If the the hard drives of the ship's computer are still intact, I could see if any recordings picked up what actually happened on the ship."
"That could work," D said and walked back to the hole "I'll go get some."
"NO!" Deimos shouted and was instantly at the hole too, growling. Then he stopped and stood up tall "Sorry, it's just... some of it's classified and I'd rather you don't see any of it." his ears lowered and he held out a hand "Could I take Alexa down to retrieve the information?"
"Oh..." D said looking at him. "Sure, just be careful with her." and he handed her over to him.
"Thank you." Deimos said and climbed back into the piece of the ship.
D simply slid down the side and back next to Artison. "Boy, I can't wait to tell my son about all this." Then he let out a small chuckle "After all the things I've done in my life, he'll believe me too."
"I know what you say, D" Artison said and leaned on the old wreck "My sister will love the epic we had, and I'll ask the geists at the archives to record this in more of my notes."
"That reminds me," D said and looked at him "What's with you and ghosts?"
"They're a sensitive thing." Artison said looking back at the hole "Some, like yours, can be pleasant and useful. Delightful as living people in fact." And then his hears lowered "But there are those who are also malicious. demanding revenge for their past life or wanting to live again and will possess someone. There are even times when one becomes the other."
"I promise you, Alexa is not gonna change for the worst." D said "She's loyal to me."
"I pray that so," Artison said "Ti'z a nice spirit, none the less."
A minute later Deimos came out with a drive in one hand and Alexa in the other. "I got what I need," He tossed Alexa back to D "I should be safe now..." he looked at the two smiling beck for a while, but he didn't respond much in return. "Bye." And he started walking away.
"Okay, let's get out of here." Alexa said
"Someone's eager to return?" Artison said and turned toward where their journey began. "Then again, twood be all of us." then he let out a small chuckle.
"You got to work on those jokes, Arty." D said and started following.
"I'm serious though, we ought to leave before more things happen with these irkens." Alexa insisted.
"Why?" D asked "After all Deimos did for us in the chaos, these guys see like great people."
"Aye, We might be able to learn so much from them." agreed Artison "We could even set an embassy somewhere around here."
"oh just till I tell you the things I found on those hard drives." Alexa said
