I'm going to be opening for ACEO trades in the very near future, and I wanted to make a sample set to show what options I'll be offering for those who are interested in trading with me. You will have the choice of either a standard bust portrait or a chibi, or both if you want to trade for two cards.

I have been setting up an art studio in our (previously mostly unused) second bedroom, and I have two large poster frames that I want to fill with art from my watchers, so that's why I'm going to start doing these trades. :) I tried something like this a few years ago but it sorta fizzled out and I never got very far, so I'm hoping I'll be a little more motivated this time.

I'm not open for trades quite yet, but if you think this is something you'd be interested in, here's what I'll be looking for:

*Traditional Art - I want physical work I can hold in my hands, and also because yeah, these are going in a frame. lol If you do digital, you can still participate, but you'll have to print out what you do at the correct size and mail it to me.

*Full Color - Pretty self-explanatory. I want pieces that are going to look nice once they're up in a frame surrounded by lots of other ACEO's.

*Skill Level - This is what's going to throw people off. I'm not looking for you to be perfect, amazing, A+ artists, I just want to see the same amount of effort put into your work as I put into mine. :) If you can create a piece that looks finished and frame-worthy, then you can trade with me.


Also a couple more notes -

- I'll be wanting art of either Luthien or Maraschino. I'll leave the style, theme, and pose up to you guys - you can do bust portraits, full body, chibi, something else, whatever you want. I have one poster for Luthien and one for Maraschino so as long as your piece can fit in one of those, I'm happy. :)

- You don't have to be an artist to trade with me. If you can find another artist who's style I like, you can get them to make an ACEO of either Luthien or Maraschino (how you get it from them is well, up to them really...could be a commission or another trade, that will vary depending on the artist) and then trade *that* with me.

- I work VERY fast - it took me about 2-3 hours to whip these four out. I don't expect everyone to work at the same speed, but I want to make sure that people know, if you enter into a trade with me, make sure you'll be able to complete your half in a reasonable amount of time. Timing is part of why this idea didn't work out the first time. >.>

All that being said, I'm looking forward to seeing how these will turn out. I'll post some kind of advertisement once I'm officially open, the trade slots will probably be a bit limited until I get a better feel for how fast these will go.
