A pic that was made, thinking about a new way to show the lines :D
I usually finish drawing the lines with pencils,
but this time I drew the lines with pen after it.
The point is, I drew the boarders of the shadows too.
Kind of a draft for animation.
Looks like his head is too big*laugh*,
I drew the furs around his face too much XD

well the fur may stick out a lot but from what i can tell unless he is another hulk his head is actually too small.
And if a Tiger , then would not he make his Sakai clay with a slightly longer spout or something like a straw, its not like he has lips and a human's flat face.

my ability is not as good as yours, (maybe its cause i'm not Japanese/Nipon) but do a combination sketch.
what the heck do i mean, umm well do an atonomical of both, furr or hairless then combine like forms. Some places will be dominant structures. So instead of Humanizing a Tiger or Felinizing a Human you are instead creating someone in the middle. Thats how i do it. Alot of the work is done in pencil sketches and more is done in imagination, (That is, see it done before you touch the pencil to the paper or start the first tablet line.) Cool i'm still working on drawing the way you do, tis hard. But i can paint like the old masters now, Glass matte pre-cgi but my drawing is not as good. I don't know why, i've been drawing longer!0-0

I think I've got what you mean.
You're telling me that, you should make both sketches of "tiger" and "tiger with no furs".
And recognize the structure of the tigers,
how the furs acts in the figure in parts.
Am I getting it? *laugh*
Yeah, that might be a near path for recognizing the real tiger structures.

well no.
i'll simplify.
Draw a combination of the Tiger and Human.
to do this: draw the furless Tiger antonomically. the muscles, bones so forth. A figure study no fur to see the muscles etc.
Same with Human and hairless, or no hair, like a buddist.
Next draw not the form of Anime tiger NOT the human with tiger ears.
And not the form of feral tiger human either, not a Tiger with Human ears.
take the structures, the dominant characteristics....umm simple, = it would be those parts of each anatomy that are more important to the final look of the new race. dominant features like tiger ears combination of human skull and Feline skull, (Keeping the aspect, err the brains the same size as a human's brain-case=skull looking at the adjustments to the form by including the clavicle or the breatbone. the adjustments because of the addition of a tail, the fact that he has retractable claws that are somewhat flat though still cat claws, hands and feet. i combined anatomies of animals to humans the easist is the horse since except for face muscles all the rest of the horse and huamn have all the same bones and muscles, though they are shaped differently. I did this same thing with each animlal anthromorph i do.
