And!!! If you have the lab and just want to change your pet's gender without getting the risk of changing any other thing, you can challenge the Lab Scientist on the Battledome and during the battle he can change your pet's gender :3c

Yeah!!!! I've done this some years ago in some old account of mine and it worked too ^O^
When you complete the lab pieces and go to the lab for the first time you get him as a challenger. If you have the lab for a long time you may not remember getting him, I always forget these stuff haahshshsh So just go to the Battledome and challenge him! During the battle you have a chance of him zapping the pet and changing their gender. You dont even need to finish the battle after that!
