Personality
Bloodstone is the image of a perfect quartz, from her muscular physique to her energetic, spirited personality. She has an authoritative presence that commands the respect of others. Like most quartzes, she has an affinity for sparring, but she also has a definite mean streak and will lash out at others for no reason at times, other than to satisfy her own sadistic bloodlust. She is stubborn and won't hesitate to insert herself into someone else's conversation to voice her opinions, which makes her obnoxious. She often seems to act out of sheer spite alone. Her aggression is rooted in personal depression and misery, but she seldom acknowledges this. She is glaringly egotistical and conceited.
Bio
Bloodstone was manufactured in a non-earth Kindergarten several thousand years before the Rebellion. Immediately, she was stationed on a war-stricken colony, currently in rebellion from its mistreated workers. Her commander was shattered in a conflict and, in a fit of instinct, Bloodstone took over and led the surviving troops to victory, for which she was rewarded with the title of general when she returned to Homeworld. She was a very promising quartz, which attracted the attention of Dragon Blood Jasper, a renowned soldier who had fought in many wars before her and allegedly won them all. Dragon seduced Bloodstone and the two became unlikely partners, until it became clear that Bloodstone would outshine the Great General Dragon. Dragon couldn't cope with this and, eventually, their relationship became uncomfortable and strained. When the Rebellion started and the two were stationed on earth, Dragon left Bloodstone, who was heartbroken. Reportedly, Bloodstone became increasingly aggressive and cruel in her tactics with every month that passed without Dragon's company, in the hopes that her vicious attacks would impress her and the two of them could reconcile. But, with every passing day, Bloodstone became more and more depressed, as well, as the unbelievable became obvious: she was pregnant. When she wasn't strategizing or attacking, Bloodstone went to her tent to be alone, with only her pearl to keep her company, until the pearl, too, fell victim to the war's bloodshed. Desperate, she sent word to Dragon, but she never received a response. Unknown to her, Dragon tried to reach her and abandoned her station to come to her when she was declined to do so, and was shattered as punishment. Bloodstone believes that Dragon simply elected to ignore her suffering, and so her hatred grew. She had their child alone in her tent one night and, infatuated with it, did what she could to protect it from the war's harm, but it was hopeless. Fossils invaded her sleeping camp one night and, while she rushed to defend her troops, her cub was shattered by their alpha, Fossil #7413. It is said that Bloodstone's heartbroken cries echoed across the camp for days to come, with her commander, Carnelian, assuming her position to keep the troops moving effectively. Bloodstone spent the remainder of the war waging her own conflict on fossils as a whole, dragging them from their dens and shattering them in the most grotesque and gruesome ways possible. Today, Bloodstone resides in the fossil den on Homeworld, where she oversees them with an iron fist, determining when they're allowed to come and leave, where they're allowed to go, and who they're allowed to see. Her hatred for them continues to consume her, as she pines for everything she has lost.
