It seems that 2 (well maybe now it'd be more accurate to say just one, the one pinned to the wall seems to have become something else entirely now) little earth ponies have gotten a little too curious and have gotten themselves into quite a situation far underground investigating mysterious occurrences around the abandoned mines. Should have known better than to wander so deep down without the crystal map directing them to do so. Hey at least the draconequus they disturbed is “friendly”. I mean, his radioactive slime breath just tickles and tingles a little bit, just relax I'm sure it's nothing too serious right?

slug, and it's probably one of the best stand alone images I've gotten in this type of theme, and the scene has amazing composition and ambiance. Also I was fairly impressed with how on model the artist was doing pastel magic horses, quite a surprise!

hahaha, I think you are hitting the nail on the head with that observation XD. a few hours after this posted I realized I missed an opportunity to label this "season 7 spoilers" and possibly use the letter to Celestia format. but maybe that will happen later.

The wry grin on Pinkie Pie's face is what really sells all this for me. It's such a seemingly minor detail, but it speaks volumes - illustrating that, now that she's undergone such a pleasant and positive shift in mentality and form, Pinkie gets it, and understands all the joy that AJ's about to receive.

Ha very observant, one of my titles/descriptions was basically going to reference the resemblance to a boss battle going very poorly. I can even imagine Stheno rattling off some taunts as he manages to close in despite her best efforts.
Yeah I need to play that, I spoiled myself, but fortunately not so much to render me un-interested. It's be pretty easy for me to do a tribute to this series; and arguably stheno is a lot like Eveline (though he can just punch an uppity protagonist with syringes really hard even before bulking up instead of having to rely exclusively on psychic power)

yeah probably. I like to imagine that even though this is technically stheno's "home universe", living here is the equivalent of whatever kind of beast he is classified as the old training at 100 times gravity. It's also why I think he starts out so small (granted it's also because it's funny to me). while he is highly resistant to actual elemental magic and status effects, the "rainbow ex machina", "orbital freindship cannon", ass-pull-of-the-week, ect naturally heavily disrupts several of his functions and severs most if not all of his symbiant links immediately on a direct hit.
I also like to imagine there are also some "stheno-buster" units specifically designed around halting his spreading influence as well as some ways to store the rainbow energy in chemical form to make it less of a hassle to toss around holy elements to damage him.

it's rare but possible, this series has a somewhat unwilling participant getting a makeover of sorts lol https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28935681/ it's kind of a spin-off of a sketch furry did, TBH I didn't know the character was a male when I commissioned a short series but I'm happy with it and it shows more variety lol.
I mean, there was a sequel https://www.furaffinity.net/view/25462873/ though I couldn't get slug to do another one (though smudgeproof helped do a mutant zecora to follow up the one in the sequel I linked)
