Furnal Equinox 2017 - Day 2
Fair warning if you try to one-up Dojo Doggo (a.k.a.
; a.k.a.
): he's practiced and mastered just about every martial arts style in the book. You give him a little lip, he'll give you a roundhouse kick. Then you'll have a big lip if you know what I mean.
NOTE: Incidentally, I never heard about this fursuiter until a couple of days before Furnal Equinox. I wondered that if and whenever I'd get a fursuit, how could I make him stand out from the others. Then I figured, "well, if I hopefully get a chance to practice karate this year - or get into it - I might pose as a fursuiter that knows how to do martial arts on top of who I already am!" Well that idea would've been the best had I not have accidentally stumbled onto Dojo Doggo's Twitter page and found out that he is a master in martial arts and does it in suit! When I found that out, I was all, "well... fuck." That said, Dojo seems like a pretty cool and swell fursuiter. He even invited me to be part of a video he'd be making shortly after the Fursuit Games, but I had to respectfully cancel that plan shortly after as I was off with some other friends for other shenanigans. But hopefully he and I will get a chance to do some video stuff for next year's FE. Maybe he could teach me some self-defence moves or some practical martial arts moves. Maybe he and I could have a fursuit spar (well, if I get strong enough and well-versed in martial arts in some way, lol).
This photo you see here is one of many photos I've taken from this year's
with the rockin' theme choice of "Rock the Fandom."
This year in particular was my sixth furry convention I've ever attended.

He does? That's impressive!
That'd be cool seeing you and him spar or do training or something of the like.
Only fighting experience I've ever had was making it to second-degree white belt in karate after one month when I was younger (like in Grade 8 or 9 I believe), but due to financial and other more personal reasons, I was unable to continue my lessons. I wish I could do karate all over again and be stronger and awesome like everyone else.
Do ya think next year - in addition to getting a photo with you in fursuit - that you could show me some useful fighting moves, too?
