Edit: Turns out my Cintiq isn't a flicker-free monitor, which explains the nausea! Monitors with flicker can cause nausea. My laptop has a flicker-free monitor, which explains why the Intuos wasn't giving me nausea. I had also reduced the brightness on my Cintiq, which makes the flicker (and the nausea) worse. THE MORE YOU KNOW
I did a little tablet comparison! The first image (Intuos one) was a slight vent, but the second one's mostly a response to the vent. I'm feeling a lot better emotionally now though, so don't worry! Also, the canvas size for the first one was slightly bigger than the second, which is why the lines are thinner. Other than that, all the techniques I used for both images are exactly the same.
But yeah man tablets are weird. For the Cintiq, the motion sickness gets worse the longer I use it. No idea why. It feels like I've been looking down for too long at my phone when in a car. :/
This also made me realize why it's been so hard for me to use my Cintiq. While the quickness benefits are nice, man does it do a number on my body. I also get pretty bad wrist pain if I use it at a bad angle.
WEIRD. I'll have to do a lot of thinking on whether or not I want to continue using my Cintiq though, that's for sure.

I'll have to try that, thank you! I love ginger. <3 I actually found out the reason for the nausea today! It turns out that the Cintiq 13HD, as a monitor, isn't flicker-free. Monitors with flicker can cause nausea in some people, and reducing the brightness on the monitor can increase the flicker. I had reduced the brightness on my cintiq a while back, which caused a spike in nausea when I drew on it. I made a little video on how I could tell my Cintiq wasn't flicker-free while my laptop screen is, if you want to check it out: https://twitter.com/kaijukisses/sta.....00283639877632
Hope that might help you a little!
Thank you! It was fun to see the differences haha.
