The elementals are a group of humanoid golems that are attached to a surface of the same element. What this means is that they are essentially only visible from where humans would have knees up.
I got this idea while roleplaying with GoldRaibowMario2 on DeviantArt (BTW, if you're on FA, leave a comment), and the first elemental RP we did was about this elemental, the Rock Elemental. This picture takes place at the end of the RP, where the Rock Elemental falls forward gracefully and preforms the biggest belly flop ever, ending the world as we know it due to the massive shockwave and crater the belly flop caused.
