The silence in Marcus’ house was deafening.
It had been exactly twenty-four hours since Marcus had left the hospital and taken by Talon Co. Right now Travis, Derric, Mike, Foxy, and Torpedo were sitting in the living room, saying absolutely nothing, and barely watching whatever was playing on the TV.
Everyone just couldn’t help but feel empty that Marcus wasn’t there with them.
“I’m gonna hit the hay.” Torpedo said, breaking the silence, then left the living room to go to Marcus’ room.
Despite how angry he was at the person who had done this, he was more angry at himself for letting Marcus get hurt.
Not bothering to change, the shark plopped onto the bed.
'I’m so sorry Marcus.' He thought with a sigh. 'I just wanted you to like me, but now I don’t think that’ll ever happen.'
The shark felt like crying, but that was something that he promised himself that he would never do.
He saw himself as a warrior, and warriors didn’t cry.
'I’ll be surprised if you ever want to talk to me again.'
Torpedo then grabbed Marcus’ pillow and held it close to his chest, taking in its scent.
'Even though you hated me, I was still able to hold you close. It really should have been me who was hit.'
He pulled the covers over himself and closed his eyes.
“I don’t know how, but I’ll make this up to you kid.”
Torpedo’s phone then rang.
He clicked ignore because he wasn’t really in the mood to deal with anything right now.
Just for his phone to ring again.
“Shut up.” He said and silenced his phone. “I’m in no mood to deal with anyone’s bullshit right now.”
That said, he went back to closing his eyes and hoped that sleep would come to him easily.
That didn’t happen.
Torpedo spent the next hour just tossing and turning in the bed, growling at the lack of tiredness that he was feeling all of a sudden. He really couldn’t get over the fact that Marcus wasn’t there with him, and could possibly never be back again if something went wrong.
'I’d better not think of that.' He thought, then sat up. 'Damn it.'
Assuming that sleep would never come, Torpedo got up and put on a jacket.
He was going to check on Marcus.
When Torpedo left the room, he noticed that all the lights in the house were off, so he assumed that everyone had gone to bed.
The shark then made his way outside and into his car, and was about to start it but stopped when his phone rang.
“I thought I turned you off.” He said with a growl, then answered it. “What?!”
“Finally!” The person on the other side said.
It was Arch.
“I tried to call you several times so I could tell you that Marcus was ready to come home.” Arch continued. “So don’t give me that bitchy attitude.”
Torpedo froze for a second after hearing that.
He didn’t expect Marcus to be ready so soon, and would be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous about confronting him.
“I thought you said that Marcus would need about a week before he was able to return.” The shark stated.
“No, I said that he would need about a week before he would be back to normal.” Arch corrected. “Just hurry over, I’ll give you the details when you get here.”
That said, the call ended, and the shark was still in a bit of shock.
'I can’t hesitate now.' He thought and started his car. 'Marcus needs me.'
Because there was no traffic, the ride to Talon Co. took about an hour, seeing how the company was a bit aways from the city.
Torpedo also didn’t hesitate to break a few speed limits because no one was around.
When the shark arrived, Arch was standing at the entrance.
“Where’s Marcus?” Torpedo asked.
Arch smiled, and Torpedo noticed a little tail swishing from behind the white animatronic.
The head of a little golden fox poked out from behind Arch, then hid his face once again when his eyes met Torpedo’s.
The shark swore that his heart just melted.
'He looks a little bit like Foxy, but with golden fur instead of red.' He thought. 'He’s so cute…'
Marcus did look just like Foxy. He and Foxy now shared the same body structure, height, and build. What made Marcus different though was that his fur was golden, and his eyes remained the same emerald-green that he had when he was a human.
“It’s okay Marcus, you don’t need to hide.” Arch said and patted the golden fox. “Torpedo here is one of your friends.”
Torpedo could tell that Marcus was very confused and nervous.
Not only that, but Torpedo also noticed that the fox was blushing furiously.
“It’s gonna take a while for his memories to return, but he seems to be able to walk, talk, and function well.” The white man continued. “We worked on him all day, and I think that he’s suitable to return home.”
“Am I going to go home with him?” Marcus asked, then looked at the shark. “You’re friendly right?”
The blue shark couldn’t help but blush after the fox said that. Torpedo then slowly approached Marcus, and bent down a little to look at him at eye level.
Marcus was obviously still a little intimidated by Torpedo’s bulk and size, but all of that nervousness faded when the shark stroked his head.
“Are you kidding?” Torpedo joked with a smile. “You may not remember, but you are one of the most important people I know.”
Torpedo then stood up and brought the fox into a tight hug.
Marcus was very startled by this, but to Torpedo’s surprise, instantly hugged him back.
“That’s nice.” Marcus muttered and nuzzled the shark’s chest.
“Anyway…” Arch said. “You two have a good night, there are some things I need to tend to right now. Take care you two.”
That said, Arch returned to the building, and Torpedo and Marcus made their way into the shark’s car.
“Your fathers will be pretty happy to see you.”
“Their names are Travis and Derric right?” He asked. “Arch told me about them, though I am a little scared of how Travis will look. He’s supposed to be a Triceratops.”
Torpedo then let out a hearty laugh.
“Kid, that guy is a giant blue dino, there’s really nothing to be afraid of.” Torpedo stated and put his arm around the fox. “Besides, he is your father after all.”
“If you say so.” Marcus replied and leaned into the shark.
As much as the shark wanted to squeeze the little fox, he needed to focus on driving. He still couldn’t believe that Marcus was actually being quite nice to him, even if he didn’t have his memories.
Torpedo just wondered if he would still be this way after he got them back.
'I’ll think about that later.' He thought. 'I’ll just enjoy the time I have with him now.'
xXOOOOOXx
The next morning, Torpedo woke up with Marcus curled up next to him.
He couldn’t help but smile once again, and wrapped his arms around the innocent little fox.
'I guess that it’s time to tell everyone the news.' He thought and slowly reached for his phone, making sure not to wake Marcus. 'Now who should I text first?'
Foxy was the first person that came to mind, so he texted the following:
“Your brother is upstairs with me.”
Though Torpedo was actually texting Mike’s phone, he was well aware of Foxy’s obsession with “borrowing” things that belonged to the human.
The shark then began counting backwards from five.
'Five, four, three, two, one…'
His phone then pinged.
He called that perfectly.
“I have a brother?” The fox replied.
Torpedo then took a picture of himself and the golden fox sleeping next to him, then sent it to Foxy.
Once again, he counted backwards from five in his head.
'Five, four, three, two, one…'
And once again, his phone pinged when he got to zero.
“WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?!!” Foxy replied, in all caps.
“It’s Marcus, your twin brother.” Torpedo typed back. “Isn’t he just the cutest?”
Now he thought it was time to tell someone else.
But who...

Oh man, this scene is fucking ancient. For those who are wondering, yes, Marcus and Fox Aladar have the same design, and are practically the same person.
This scene came from an old FNAF story I used to write, and man it's been forever since I've even glanced at it.
