Sometimes it is a seadragon's job to put the happy back in folks when they're feeling down. Their task is achieved by pulling back their cheeks to make a big crazy smile, then projecting an invisible concentrated silly energy known in technical terms as a 'happy beam,' shown for your convenience in the form of funny text. The wavelengh is especially wiggly and is not easily created by non-seadragons. This technique works particularly well in the cheering of foxes.
I did this one back in 2002, and it was probably my first experiment in line weight . Also one of the very few coloured pieces I've ever done.
