The Journey to the West is one of my favorite epic stories. I first learned about the story when I was little when I found a book adaption of the 1964 Havoc in Heaven movie by the Wan brothers. Since then I've watched more traditional opera versions, clips from the adaptation with designs by Jamie Hewlett, Dragonball, and many of the live action movie adaptions.
