I feel pretty much exactly the same way. I have a pretty wide range of interests so it's not as if this consumes my entire life and person (heh, consumes) but honestly even if I had the chance I wouldn't give this up. It's a big interest of mine and definitely part of who I am. Weird and fantastic is an oddly apt description.
That reminds me of the little Link drawings I did of that level in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time where he has to save the Zora Princess from the belly of that "whale" or something? Forgot his name lol.

Huh... So I'm not the only one who developed a like into vore at a young age... That's really cool ^_^ everyone else I've ever met think its weird I got into it when I was around 5 years old...
