A couple of days ago I made a simple and quick scene to render. At least it was supposed to be quick and simple. It was going to be accompanied by a "How I did it" submission that I was going to make later.
When I went to go further with it to give the scene materials and render it, my program wouldn't start. The next day it did, but kept crashing every so often. This wasn't the fault of the program though.
Earlier I was attempting a finish render, but I was so tired and it was taking so long that I just went to bed and left it running. When I came back, I wasn't happy with the render.
I edited a few things and was going for another render when the program crashed again before I can save that render.
The scene is a simple stove top with a pot of eggs in boiling water. I was trying to add steam, but it's hard to get right and render. The same problem I was running into with my cup of hot chocolate scene.
After I had lost that long render, and I couldn't get the steam right, I just took it out completely (still couldn't tell to be honest) and zoomed into the pot of eggs.
I made the griddle glow to indicate it is hot, but it looks weird for some reason. And I rarely turn stoves up that high.
Maybe I'll come back to this, but it was literally just supposed to be a quickie. Not necessarily a speed modeling challenge, but still.
As usual, don't steal, copy, edit, etc. Even if it is really simple.
Want something, just ask please.
