Oh boy, this one took me a long time (and a break...I started it exactly two months ago!)

Imagination led me to create my own characters and universe a while ago...I think about 10 years ago now, what is pretty lengthy when compared to my own life. But although I'm expanding the world and its cast of weirdos day after day with new ideas, I'm a bit disappointed with the main plot centered around a group of five characters. Teenage ideas tend to be...lacking nuance sometimes.

But Jenn and her story kinda helped me reshuffle the cards. I began imagining having her meet one of my main characters during her adventures later on, which led to a particular short story about said character, Syssandre Amathela. The writing is going okay so far. I need to keep going since it revealed pretty long, and I got a ton of new ideas and concepts along the way.

That brings us to the current piece. I wanted to create an artwork for the story in general. Some kind of cover. I was a bit frustrated with it at first, but the final result is definitely satisfying. Man, now I can do cloth-shading. Definitely thought it was a dead cause ;v;.

The dragoness is Syssandre, the gahl everyone knows (and loves...or hates, depending whether she robbed/killed your friends a few years ago). Her 'companion' is called Ularn Mistrider, a diplomat from the Valden people (i.e. the wind elementals. He's a chill dude, I promise). Kudos to the ones who get the not-so-easy reference about hiq last name. Something about a world where drawing is magic :).
