Seychelles, 2005. Ish.
Banana spider in a bush on the beach. One of many. Started to trigger my daddy-long-legs-ish fear (that is, tiny body with ginormously out of proportion legs), but I remained steadfast long enough to get a few shots.
...That thing's legs were big enough to cover my entire face.

wow, that thing is cool, also, on a side note I am not really afraid of daddy long legs, hell, they are the only spider I will ever touch, I LOVE poking the little guys to make them spaz out XD, though this particular spider, I would NOT want anywhere near me, as they have a hideous venom that is quite lethal.
Daddy-long-legs creep me right the fork out. Tiny bodies with long thin legs... 's just... wrong!
Oh, and this is apparently not that particular banana spider. It's actually the golden silk orb-weaver variety of banana spider, which has potent—but non-lethal—venom. To humans, anyway.

Ah I see ^v^, those spiders are actually pretty cool, their webs are among the strongest of all spiders, some tribes have actually used these guys to make fishing nets for them. using their ultra strong webs, if the net breaks, all they need to do is put the spider back on and let him do the repair work ^v^.
