This lovely one antlered buck was just finished for
He was a definite challenge with some of his markings, and getting his antler shape correct (my fabric was being extremely fickle and not wanting to cooperate when turning it...took three tries to get that bit right) He has beautifully embroidered eyes, one green and one blue. The rest of him is made of minky apart from his hair which is a high quality faux fur. (Sorry it looks a little wild here, I wanted to get some pictures of him in natural sunlight and it was quite windy today!)
This was a commissioned piece and is not for sale.
But I am open for commissions! Email me at Kaylaskritterz[at]yahoo.com with your SFW reference and I'll be happy to give you a quote!

I guess it might be doable, instead of backpack straps, pretend the backpack is ridding piggyback. Like it has hidden clips in the hands for the cheststrap, as well as clips in the feet for the waist strap. I'm no crafts person, so this idea might be totally impractical. (But all in all this is awesome, pair with a tail that has a hidden pocket as well and you got loads of space)
