It's well known I am not a fan of pants, but I admit that when I wear pants, the quality of those pants are directly proportionate to the quantity of zippers and pockets. My fave pair had 13 zippers and 8 pockets. I miss my amazing zipperpants.

Because without zippers, the alternative is buttons! And one zipper can replace between 3 - 8 buttons! How many buttons are appropriate? When do buttons become gratuitous?
