Starling is a young Unicorn stallion who grew up and resides in Canterlot. As a colt, he was admitted to several magic schools and while he's adept at learning spells, he's extremely proficient in telekinesis magic! He grew up with his father and mother, his father being a professor at a magic academy and his mother an event planner and coordinator.
His profession is primarily being a model and secondarily being a fashion designer. He grew to popularity in that industry and is quite a bit of a star around Equestria for it. He travels a lot to different cities within Equestria to do shows and display his works, however he mostly sticks to Canterlot if he doesn't need to be anywhere else.
Starling's personality can be described as affectionate, outgoing, and flamboyant. He usually acts familiar and informal, especially compared to the usual crowd that comes from Canterlot. However, he can be very vain if he lets his ego go unchecked. And when competition comes into play, he can become somewhat coldhearted, finding anyway he can to win.
His cutiemark represents two things: a pencil for creativity, and a star for having a knack of making other ponies starstruck, be it with fashion, his shows, or just being a total lovebug.
