I finally found all the parts I had stored away to complete this computer. This is really an unmolested Woz edition inside! Just the basic 256K of RAM along with the original ROM00 set-up. It was never upgraded to ROM01 like several were!

Wow, that is so cool!

I have a few older Macs, but nothing special. I wish you could have gotten the software that was with it.

I wish so too and so does the previous owner, believe me. He had an almost full collection of the MECC titles like Oregon Trail and such along with whatever came with the IIGS.

We had Apple IIe's in the classrooms when I was in 5th and 6th grade and the first computer lab I took in 7th grade had Mac Pluses.

We never got the IIgs systems in our school district. Went right from IIe to Macintosh pluses. Still, I love games like Oregon Trail and Lemonade stand. :)

Well, the Amiga was a bit newer than the IIGS, I think. Also, the Apple is a bit better built. I've had three Amiga 500's over the years and they were all either dead or had bad internal disk drives.

Only suggestions are either eBay or I think there is a group for the IIgs on Facebook as well. I am just lucky I kept some odd-ball parts around when I found them years ago. (Still wish I had kept my Apple II+! Grr...)
