Ethkorz is the native term but since NASA of way in the 3000s they have been nicknamed Whippers in a fictional story I am writing. It is in the gallery!
They are bigger than a great dane and can open their jaws at the length of a sharks bite, and they are known as whippers since they use their deadly tails for weapons at times.
They are a well populated species monstrous and has eaten the first crew but a couple survivors in the Solunerra story in progress.
Skin is leathery and they hunt in numbers. They also like to play with their food!
