Long ago, when the three sisters ruled the seas near the reefs of what is now Manehattan, the seaponies would offer sacrifices to appease the sisters and keep their ocean territories safe. During one such event, a young angler pony was offered to the sisters.

Gregarious Tides stared stoically into the maw of the guardians ready to meet his fate, when one of the guardians snatched him away.
Gregarious was rescued by the whim of Lady Sonata. She told him he looked to be most adorable. For the rescue, he swore to serve her. Acting as occasional cook, medic, entertainment, and the odd bit of bait. Gregarious would follow his master across the great seas. Offering company and acting as the avatar to the surface ponies.

Gregarious was soon told it was time to leave. Sonata could not bring herself to let him go or eat him, so Aria swam him to Horseshoe Bay. There, the tales of Old Greg became a very popular folk song to entertain the tourists. It is as popular as his various recipes for strong spirits. His personal favorite is a concoction called Baleen's (he used humpback whale milk).

Random Facts:
-Sonata considered him a pet, and considers all seaponies his pups. They are the one creature of the deep off her menu (Can't say the same for her sisters).
-He is the Great great great great (give or take) grand dad of High Tide and Sea Foam.
- His shackles are displayed in the town museum.

Also on this list is High Tide's 90 ton baby Kraken, Daisy Jane. She was was first discovered by Old Greg as a tiny little cuddle fish (heavy on the "cuddle") riding on his chain. It became a family tradition to care for her. High Tide takes his rambunctious charge's care seriously. She is almost out of her adolescent age and will soon begin her trek to the deepest trenches to grow and one day breed.

Although she mostly sleeps now, she finds time to play with sunken ships (even sinking a few to build her collection.... Don't tell High Tide). Daisy can smell Old Greg's bloodline regardless of the generation and only seems to listen to them. Any rambunctious pirates, or sea faring scoundrels tend to give Horeshoe Bay a large berth.

Random Facts:
- About as big as 3 humpbacks from nose to tail (not including the tentacles).
- After eating a literal ton of food (from anchovies to whale carcasses, she aint picky) she will sleep for weeks.
- High Tide will sell her shed suction cups and her shed shell as magical ingredients.
