Amobarital, or 5-ethyl-5-(3-methylbutyl)-1,3-diazinane-2,4,6-trione, is a sleeply little molecule. It spends most of the day napping and has been diagnosed with sever narcolepsy. It gets so sleepy that it can make people sleepy just by ingesting it. I can also have a slightly hypnotic effect and has been used as a "truth serum" in the past. Though Amobarital doesn't like being used so it got out of that relationship quickly. Now it spends most of its time sleeping, and occasionally as an anesthetic.
