As soon as the two had their hospital rooms to themselves, they made a break for it out the windows. Torrent to her penthouse, and Ash to Analie's apartment.
She landed on the balconey, and slid the door open. Analie was watching TV and looked to her when she walked it. Her hair wasn't redyed yet, but she had on new clothes and even another pink scarf.
Ash looked at the TV and saw that people got footage of her flying for a moment while holding the guy. Channel to channel it seemed to switch on her being some kind of savior or some kind of abomination, but both sides would use the word "angel" to describe her.
"Well, I seemed to have messed up." Ash said... "Now the world knows I'm out there." She leaned on the couch and looked to the hybrid "At least some people tend to think I'm a protector."
The TV started to rapidly change channels, making a sentence. "That image has a cost."
"I know, Ana, People will demand and get mad when they don't get what they want from me." She sighed and looked at her wings "I'm amazed these wings could still work after all that, these are why I get most of the attention." She ran her fingers through the feathers "It must be where the angel thing game from. It's not gonna make me invincible though."
The TV started channel flipping again "We could come close." And then it turned off. Analie walked to her room, and then came out with some familiar bracers. They were cut to be more like anklets or cuffs. The TV turned on haywire again "Put these on."
Ash took them and looked at them closely "These are from those two robbers, aren't they?" Ash looked up at her mute friend, and saw her nodding. Eager now, she slid them on her arms, but Analie took them off her and set them attached to her wings. "What?" She flapped her wings for a moment, "I mean, I think I can fly with these one but why there?"
Analie held out her phone. "They were damaged during the fight," it said for her "But seeing how there were familiar to old blueprints I've seen, I fixed them up the best I could." Then she threw a punch at her wing and it was stopped by nothing "The bracers only project a field around one specific body part."
"So... My wings are now like indestructible shields?"
Analie nodded
"This is perfect." Ash said " Just one thing, could you maybe change the lights? Make them black, or yellow?"
Analie just nodded and took them off.
"Thanks Ana," And then she hugged her "And thanks for being there for us."
"I only wish I could do more." Analie's phone replied, and she left it with her as she walked back into her room "You three mean more to me, than I myself."

In the previous story, if ANY of the other girls were to look at Analie's secrets before destroying the drives, Analie would've lost trust in all of them, and she wouldn't share the equipment she had made and is sharing with them now.
