Thanks, it took like 3 days to draw this completely. It was a pain in the butt lol.

Lol. It does make a good mountainside city for D&D

I'm not opposed to drawing cities and world maps for people, they just take a long time to do so I'd be charging a fair amount.

How much is fair?

Not really sure, I've only ever done them out of personal interest for my own D&D worlds and for friends.

Generally, it depends on what you want - world vs city - and how large or detailed you want it. Cities are very meticulous to draw since I do everything by hand with tiny markers. This city is actually my smallest and is just smaller than a normal 8x11 sheet on art paper. I'm working on a city for one of my worlds that's 11x13" and that fucker is taking forever lol. Worlds go the same way as well.

If I were to recreate a similar city of about the same size, we would be talking around $75-100 cause it'd take at least 3-5 days using my free time around work to do well. Larger cities would be more. Likewise with maps, though I prefer to draw larger maps and they aren't as hard since it's not quite as much detail work.

What about a tree city?

I'm not sure how I would go about drawing that. As you can see, my cities don't really show individual buildings, so having things like branches/separate trees/etc would be pretty difficult

Oh, I was thinking like a segmented tree. In my D&D game they live in like a spire in a tree with a city surrounding the base.

So, multiple levels built into the trunk of a tree with some at the base and branches? Multi-level city.

That's one massive tree lol. Must be something like a "World Tree", at least a mild in diameter and miles high.

There is also a ring city around the roots. The tree is big but not that big. The tree is inhabited by a race of mice, lol. It is for a D&D campaign called "Kingdom of Golden Oak."

Oh, so it a "Tiny" campaign since they are mice. That makes more sense. Sort of like the Redwall series then?

Honestly, I have never seen Redwall, but looking at it, it is just like that. I was surprised to discover how many different mouse themed franchises there are since I start playing this game, lol.

It makes my campaign so much more fleshed out too~
