The drawing shows how they actually look ;3
Griffon City is quite a large metropolitan area, it’s got some reservoirs, some beaches, some nuclear plants, farms, suburban areas, and the city at the heart of it all. However, our focus is on the affluent family from that said city known as the Mongrels. Currently they had just made their way to another home, which wasn’t as big as their mansion but still very well established. They parked their car in front of one of the three detachable garages. While the couple were waiting for the door to be answered, Mrs. Mongrel said to her 11-year-old son, Breihzlander, who was currently tugging on his semi-formal attire, “I know this isn’t something you’re used to, Breihzy. But this is a family affair, and our clients insisted on having the whole family come over. Who knows, you may find a friend or two.” “Alright, Mama. I’ll try to enjoy myself.” Breihzlander smiled a bit after Mrs. Mongrel helped fix him up a bit.
Not too long after, there were many other investors at the Breihzlanders’ clients’ home, and the wealthy golden retrievers were chatting with their clients who were two arctic foxes whose surnames were known as the Nuñez. Mr. Nuñez was a tall, moderately muscular and was a bit of stock in the abdominal area, wearing a silver gray tuxedo ensemble, while his wife was slenderer but slightly curvy and wore a silver dress that compliments her figure. “It will certainly be nice to collaborate with you on these projects, Mr. Nuñez. I’ve seen your handiworks of glass sculptures and figurines, it’s quite amazing.” “Gracias, Mr. Mongel. I look forward to working with you very soon.”
While the two couples chatted away with some fancy drinks, young Breizhlander was sitting on the couch, simply bored out of his wits since he was surrounded by adults, and couldn’t find a kid in sight. Not that he expected to, but that changed when he saw a young fox kit sitting by himself and was fidgeting with a camera in his hand. The kit was about three to four years, and Breihz then went over to him seeing how he felt a bit lonely. “That’s a nice camera you have there, kid.” “Thanks...It’s an instafilm camera.” The kit spoke in a soft voice. “Ah, I see. So you like taking photos?” Breihzlander asked, which the kit nods shyly. “I’m sure you take some good photos. Also, my name’s Breihzlander. What about you?” The fox was silent for a few moments. “Hmm, still kinda shy, huh? I won’t rush you.” “Miguel…” “What was that?” “My name’s Miguel.” The kit said in the same soft voice. “Um… Breihzlander?” “Oh, call me Breihz.” The golden retriever smiled. “Oh...Okay, Breihz. You want to come to my room? I have some video games we could play.” Breihzlander instantly beamed from the offer and follow Miguel upstairs to his room.
Once Miguel opened the door, Breihzlander was in awe seeing his room. He had posters ranging from various superheroes from Marvel, DC, and Power Rangers, along with El Club De Los Tigritos, Mortal Kombat, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Super Mario. “Whoa…. Where did you get all of these…?!” “My older siblings loved collecting stuff like this when they were kids, and they gave me some of their consoles. How about we play some Mortal Kombat?!” Miguel suggested. “Sure!” Soon, Miguel started up the Sega Saturn and began playing Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Breihzlander chose Ermac, while Miguel chose Jade. Soon the famous words were shouted and shown on screen. “Round One, FIGHT!”. The two kids duke it out, and are shown to be evenly matched. Breihzlander was surprised on how a kid his age was this good at Mortal Kombat. “How are you this is good at the game?!” “Oh, I learned from my eldest brother and sister by watching them and soon playing with them also.” Miguel smiled. The game continued on with several fatalities, brutalities, and friendships from both sides, and they eventually tired out.
Around the same time, the party was dying down, and Mr. and Mrs. Mongrel were looking for their son. “Where could Breihzlander be?” “Last I saw, he was with Mr. and Mrs. Nuñez’s son. Let’s check the rooms.” They checked a few rooms in the house, and eventually make their way to Miguel’s room, seeing him and Miguel sleeping on the bed. Miguel was holding on to Breihzlander like a little sibling hugging the older one, and they couldn’t help be aww at the sight. “They look so cute…! Do we really have to take him home?” “Sadly, yes hon. We need have to go out of town at some point.” “Well… This is one of the few times where he could connect with kids around his age, think we can let him stay for bit?” Mr. Mongrel had pondered for a bit and then made his decision. “I don’t see the harm in it… But we should get a picture of this moment first.” Without hesitation, Mrs. Mongrel got out a polaroid camera and took a picture of the sleeping boys, and soon the picture printed out of the camera, which will now be a framed precious memory.
