This is the fourth piece in my 'Devil's Year' series...
There’s something about April that’s always seemed petty and spiteful, at least in the northern hemisphere. Not only is it the month, when many of us have to deal with the second ‘inescapable reality’ of taxes (the other being death), it also seems like Old Man Winter is refusing to leave, and throwing a few temper tantrums as Mother Nature is dragging him off to bed.

I see, yeah that makes sense.
And of course, when I see something I like, I will fave it and sometimes I comment. I just sometimes don't get to browsing thoroughly enough through others writings, but I've found some pretty good reads out there, including this one. Now I fear that I sound like I'm being excessively deferential or fawning, or that I have some ulterior motive, or something like that, or maybe it's just sleep deprivation. I really should get some sleep xD

Texas is annoying in April. It's been fluctuating between just cold enough to give me chills (something I hate-ever since all those hospital stays years ago chills stress me out) to being just hot enough to be uncomfortable. I prefer the months from the beginning of October to the middle of may when the weather here is more like New England autumn.
