Last year, I'd posted a series of digital pictures - taken by my brother Glenn on his smartphone - from one of the lesser-known tourist attractions of south Florida: the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital in Coral Springs, Florida.
This year (on Sunday, April 9, 2017), we returned to the same facility, to see some of the newer residents - as well as some old favorites we didn't get a chance to capture on camera - and I'd like to share some of these latest 'photo-ops' on this "Throwback Thursday"...
Our favorite mammals were three raccoons - that were kept in captivity, due to minor injuries (that the park rangers felt they shouldn't be allowed to return to the wild, as they might not survive on their own). Here, we see two of the ring-tailed critters: 'Blondie' (top) and 'Rocket' (bottom), as they wander around their enclosure, prior to the meal (fruit, veggies, and hard-boiled eggs) that the rangers would eventually provide them with.
I'll have a picture of the third raccoon - 'Woody' - in a little while. And later on, I'll have more pix of additional fauna from the Sawgrass Nature Center. Meanwhile, here are the links from last year's 'photo-ops' that Glenn took at the same location...

This 'photo-op' (and others in the same series, yet-to-come) will remain in my 'Gallery' until July, 2017 - when they all will be transferred to the 'Scraps' section of my "FA" site.
