Hey, it's Alaric! As a mobster! Sporting his new facial design! And fairly young-looking!

I'm pretty crazy about crime noir, mafia, and all that kinda stuff. One day, the image of Alaric posing with a tommy gun just kinda came to me, so I had to draw it. Obviously, this pic is somewhat AU (Alaric wouldn't be holding a gun, let alone an antique like that on the MUSH).

So yeah, reworked Al's facial design a bit. (And I might do it AGAIN for other uses). His neck looks long, but that's because my intent was to have his head tilted back and away from the viewer somewhat (though I may not have succeeded!) Something about his left arm still bugs me (though it's improved immeasurably from its initial sketch), and I'm still not totally satisfied with his face, but all in all I'm fairly happy with this picture. Originally I wasn't even going to have a semblance of a background, but I ended up sketching in a sorta indistinct, purposefully akilter one. I have noooo idea if the blood spatters are whatsoever accurate. X);

I might do more of these. :3 Characters of mine in kinda noir style, I mean.
