It's the start of a great cop buddy series! Next plot points: Nick Punch grumbles about being paired with Manu, comic scenes of Manu looking fat, trouble bagging a perp that's not really Manu's fault . . . ending of course with Nick accepting his big buddy the way he is, and Manu proving his worth to the force, and his partner.
